Bridge Education are seeking 2 Cluster Finance Officers to support the financial management of a group of academies within a Trust in the Blackburn and Accrington area. The role requires a high level of integrity, strong financial administration skills, and ideally experience within the education sector.
Key Responsibilities- Support Finance Leads across the academies to ensure effective internal financial controls.
- Complete routine financial processing, reconciliations, and month-end tasks in line with Trust procedures.
- Administer income, expenditure, orders, invoicing, and payments across the cluster.
- Produce month-end reports and respond to finance-related queries.
- Monitor invoice payment deadlines and liaise with creditors and debtors.
- Support payroll reconciliations where required.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including HMRC.
- Support budget monitoring and forecasting activities.
- Honest, reliable, and able to work with integrity.
- Ideally experienced in the education sector.
- Ideally experienced using Access Education / Access Finance systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage finance systems effectively.
- A flexible team player with good communication skills.
