Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a new opportunity from September? We are currently recruiting a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Barking & Dagenham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and can confidently manage a classroom in the absence of the usual teacher.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Delivering pre-set work and supporting students with their learning
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting students across different subjects and year groups
- Ensuring students remain focused and engaged
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with young people or in a school environment
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisation
- A confident, calm and adaptable approach
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week
