Are you confident managing classrooms and passionate about supporting young people to stay engaged and focused on their learning?
We are currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in South East London, starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional to work across a range of year groups and subjects within an inclusive school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain on task
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with their learning and individual needs
- Working closely with teachers and other school staff The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
