The predicted salary is between 78000 - 110000 £ per year.

This role plays a key part in delivering the organisation’s Value Creation Plan, partnering closely with executives and senior leaders to turn strategic priorities into tangible outcomes. Working across the business, you’ll help shape and define new initiatives, provide leadership and oversight across multiple programmes, and ensure delivery is on time, within budget and achieving the intended benefits. As part of the Change & Transformation leadership team, you’ll also take a hands-on approach where needed, while leading and developing a team of Programme and Project Managers to continuously strengthen delivery capability.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the successful delivery of key strategic programmes, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and aligned to business outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Exec sponsors and business owners to shape, plan and deliver initiatives that support the Value Creation Plan.
  • Provide delivery oversight, assurance, and day-to-day leadership to programme teams, ensuring best practice and governance standards are followed.
  • Act as a trusted adviser, solving complex problems, removing blockers, and driving progress through proactive engagement.
  • Contribute to wider Change & Transformation leadership, including portfolio planning, managing dependencies, and improving ways of working.
  • Lead, develop and line manage Programme and Project Managers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Significant experience leading large, complex change and transformation programmes, ideally within financial services.
  • Proven track record of delivering across operational, regulatory, technology and strategic initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong experience managing multiple programmes simultaneously and aligning change activity to strategic goals.
  • Established people leader with a track record of developing and supporting Change professionals.
  • Deep knowledge of programme delivery, governance, prioritisation, budgeting and resource management, with expertise across key business areas.
  • Highly effective communicator and influencer, with strong leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and delivery-focused skills.
