The predicted salary is between 45000 - 53000 £ per year.

This role will support the effective delivery of the business and corporate strategy, providing support to the Corporate Development & Strategy team, and other members of the wider leadership team and Executive, across a range of key projects and activities. This is a hybrid role in either Swindon OR London office - 3 days a week.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the development, maintenance and monitoring of the Group Strategy.
  • Provide support to the strategy team and wider business to enable the successful delivery of the company Value Creation Plan.
  • Support the delivery of Corporate Development opportunities including the execution of strategic M&A opportunities.
  • Enable effective stakeholder management through preparing supporting materials required for various groups, including for our shareholders.
  • Provide project support to Strategy team initiatives, and represent the Strategy team on projects across the business as required.
  • Produce insightful and value-additive competitor and market updates and analysis to the Executive and wider business on a regular basis.
  • Enable the effective functioning of the Strategy Team through timely, efficient and pro-active administrative support.
  • Deputise for the Corporate Development and Strategy managers, and other members of the team, as required.
  • Support delivery of key Corporate Projects, including those related to shareholders.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience in corporate finance and strategic thinking.
  • Knowledge or experience working in the Financial Services sector is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal with individuals of all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding written, verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Confidence to deal with senior stakeholders within the business.
  • Good understanding of business commercials and strategy.
  • Tenacious but able to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Committed and flexible team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
