We are seeking a Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser to join our successful and growing business based in Colchester, Essex. This opportunity has arisen following the departure of a long-standing adviser and presents an excellent opportunity to inherit referral opportunities whilst also developing your own client relationships.

About the Role

As a Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert mortgage and protection advice to clients
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Generating new business opportunities through networking and referrals
  • Managing the full mortgage application process
  • Identifying and discussing protection needs with clients
  • Delivering outstanding customer service throughout the client journey
  • Maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards

What will you need to succeed?

About You

We are open to speaking with advisers from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels.

You will ideally have:

  • CeMAP qualification (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification)
  • Previous mortgage advisory experience, although varying levels of experience will be considered
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivation and entrepreneurial mindset
  • A professional and client-focused approach
  • The ability to generate and develop business opportunities
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
