We are looking for an experienced professional to manage key areas of the 2plan Propositions function. In this role, you will ensure that the products and services offered to clients are developed and managed effectively, aligned with our corporate strategy, and delivered within a strong governance framework.

This role is a hybrid role, 3 days a week in the Leeds office.

Key accountabilities:

  • Operational management and delivery of key areas of the Wealth Proposition to provide control and oversight of proposition development and management.
  • You will own the relationship management of all Wealth proposition product providers.
  • Ensuring there is a suitable relationship governance framework in place to monitor and evaluate the performance of the providers.
  • Bring forward new development ideas and other opportunities with providers that will enhance the Wealth Proposition and drive great outcomes for advisers and their clients.
  • Undertake due diligence on initial appointment of new providers and on an ongoing basis.
  • Undertaking proposition reviews for wealth products, owning the actions and seeing them through the appropriate governance committees.
  • Undertake research activity across the industry’s products for wealth, competitors, consumers and our own data.
  • Ensuring wealth proposition content on adviser and colleague Teams channels is up to date and accessible.
  • Drafting relevant communications for advisers and colleagues.
  • Ownership of MI including distribution of this to relevant parties.
  • Technical support for adviser and colleague enquiries.
  • Input to and ownership of relevant suitability templates.
  • Point of contact for third party research tools and software solutions.

What will you need to succeed?

Qualifications/Experience

  • Significant experience within an advice based role in financial services
  • Level 4 diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
  • Good overall knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Good knowledge of the Wealth advice process
  • In-depth knowledge of the types of products offered by 2plan and the financial advice market it operates in
  • Knowledge of MiFID and COBS, Consumer Duty, Retirement Income Review & PROD
  • Experience and sound knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
