This role serves as a central liaison between the organisation and its portfolio of member firms across the network, fostering strong, trust-based relationships and supporting members in achieving their business objectives. By collaborating closely with internal specialist teams within 2plan, you will drive member engagement, facilitate commercial growth, and ensure partners fully leverage the organisation’s offerings. This office-based role is pivotal in delivering a seamless member experience, proactively identifying opportunities and challenges, and contributing to the ongoing success and sustainability of both the members and the organisation. This is a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC), hybrid role, based in our Leeds office, with the requirement to be in the office 3 days a week.

Key Accountabilities
- Establish and nurture strong, professional relationships with a designated portfolio of member firms through consistent telephone and digital engagement, adhering to 2plan Relationship Management standards.
- Represent 2plan as a trusted advisor, providing members with day-to-day support in business development, queries, issues and engagement activities.
- Contribute to the achievement of growth objectives by actively promoting 2plan’s propositions, services, processes, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with members to understand their business goals, challenges, and opportunities, escalating complex needs to appropriate channels when necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all member interactions, actions, and outcomes using CRM and contact management systems.
- Proactively identify early warning signs, risks, or support requirements within member firms and escalate these for timely intervention and additional support.
- Work closely with internal teams—including proposition, compliance, and operations—to deliver a seamless and beneficial partner experience.
- Provide market and partner insights to support the achievement of account objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take personal ownership of issues and take to a conclusion utilising 2plan and group resources.
What will you need to succeed?
Experience
- Experience in a similar telephone-based role such as account management, telesales, sales support, customer service or relationship management.
- Understanding of business-to-business (B2B) relationship management, particularly in remote or telephone-based environments.
- Awareness of the financial services or intermediary marketplace; familiarity with mortgages, protection, or wealth management is advantageous but not essential.
- Commercial awareness, including the ability to comprehend business needs, priorities, and market dynamics.
- Knowledge of regulatory and legislative frameworks relevant to the industry, or a willingness to develop expertise in this area (e.g., Data Protection, Financial Crime, Code of Conduct, Health and Safety, and Financial Conduct Authority standards).
- Familiarity with digital communication and collaboration platforms, such as Teams, Zoom, or similar.
- Understanding of organisational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Skills and Competencies
- Confidence in building and maintaining professional B2B relationships remotely.
- An interest in, or understanding of, the financial services or intermediary marketplace with mortgage, protection and wealth experience being desirable, but not essential.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to understand business needs and priorities.
- Awareness of regulatory and legislative frameworks, or a willingness to develop knowledge in this area.
- A proactive, organised and target-focused approach.
- Experience using CRM systems or contact management tools.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel with experience in using leading online platforms such as Teams, Zoom or similar for video conferencing, chat and collaboration.
