As a Vetting Services Adviser, you will be responsible for ensuring candidates meet all regulatory, compliance and suitability requirements before progressing through our licensing and onboarding programmes. Working closely with hiring managers, candidates, training providers and third-party screening partners, you'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards across our recruitment and training processes. Please note, this is a 9-month fixed-term contract and is a home-based role, with travel to Swindon once a quarter for team meetings.
Benefits package:
- Salary - £28,000
- Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 7.5%
- Pension scheme - contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and put in an extra 5%

Key responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end vetting and screening process for prospective Protection Advisers
- Review applications and assess candidate suitability against the recruitment criteria
- Ensure all candidates meet requirements, right-to-work checks and onboarding standards
- Liaise with candidates, hiring managers and 3rd party screening providers to obtain and verify necessary documentation
- Make recommendations regarding candidate progression through the recruitment process
- Oversee candidate enrolment, attendance and progression throughout the licensing journey
- Maintain accurate records, logs and management information across recruitment, training and onboarding activities
