We are looking for a motivated professional to help shape and deliver our Business School Academy programme. In this role, you will support the development of future advisers by assessing, training, and coaching candidates to build the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. You will work closely with individuals and groups, uphold the Academy's professional standards, design engaging learning content, and continuously improve the learner experience by identifying new trends and best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing high quality, commercially successful professionals while contributing to the ongoing growth and impact of the Academy. This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week from our Leeds office.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience of working in B2B and B2C environments
  • Minimum 2 years experience in training and facilitation design and delivery
  • Recognised training qualification desirable
  • A track record of providing coaching/mentoring/sales management with results desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability, experience and initiative to carry out role without constant direct supervision
  • Willingness to travel as required, with Openwork Firms located across the UK
  • Create and implement personal development plans for new Advisers and colleagues
  • Interpret and analyse Openwork MI for continuous improvement
  • Create, train and facilitate developmental workshops to assist in the development of Advisers, Practice Principles, other firm and OW colleague roles
  • Use data to inform continuous improvement recommendations to programmes and content
  • Well-organised, excellent planning skills and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources with costs and benefits
  • Good knowledge of FCA guidelines, Openwork’s Sales Advice Framework (SAF) and the T&C Scheme

Key Accountabilities:

  • Agree the required level of coaching and development support for candidates at pre, post and during Academy programme training, ensuring Academy delegates make effective progress through their development track
  • Design and deliver training and coaching on prospecting, fact-finding, presentation skills to adviser candidates/firms
  • Provide a focal point of contact for candidates/firms requiring development support in their formative months
  • Drive results by reviewing and monitoring business plans for advisers/leaders & production post appointment
  • Conduct assessments for potential candidates and determine suitability
  • Provide development/mentoring/support to firms to improve candidate success via a successful & supportive partner firm
  • Assist in identifying opportunities & support those firms who wish to grow their adviser numbers and/or expand into new areas of the proposition
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for external new entrants to be placed within existing firms – either as trainees or as fully qualified and licensed individuals
