You will help train AI systems through realistic software engineering tasks. You will create backend feature and bug-fix challenges, then assess the solutions produced by AI systems.
The role combines backend engineering judgment with structured code evaluation. Your reviews will consider correctness, performance, debugging, automated testing, maintainability, and implementation quality.
- Create realistic backend coding tasks for feature development and software bug fixes.
- Build deterministic verifiers that accept reasonable valid solutions and reject incorrect or incomplete implementations.
- Review AI-generated code using strong software engineering and code review judgment.
- Evaluate debugging work, performance, automated tests, and maintainability.
- Produce challenging, high-quality examples for AI training.

- Professional backend development experience with Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a similar language.
- Experience building scalable services and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and foundational computer science.
- Experience finding software bugs, system bottlenecks, or performance issues.
- Ability to refactor code and implement complex features in large-scale applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Experience designing service or feature test strategies, maintaining large automated test suites, diagnosing flaky tests, improving testing practices, or maintaining CI test pipelines is helpful.
- Public or private work that demonstrates strong software engineering ability is helpful.
