Senior Strategic Alliance Manager – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Partnership
The Opportunity

As a Senior Strategic Alliance Manager (Sr. SAM), you will play a critical role in designing and executing our partner growth strategy with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) across UKI and Western Europe.
This is more than a typical partner role. You will collaborate deeply with both OpenText and HPE stakeholders to deliver joint value to customers, drive revenue growth, and build sustainable, high-impact alliances. You will lead with strategic thinking, data-backed planning, and a consultative approach that ensures our go-to-market alignment delivers results.

Your Impact
- Lead the partner growth strategy with HPE across your assigned territory, focusing on revenue acceleration and mutual success.
- Design, build, and execute a joint business plan with measurable objectives and growth targets.
- Own the partnership relationship, fostering senior executive alignment and cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive joint sales planning, customer account engagement, and partner enablement initiatives that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue.
- Support partner marketing and demand generation programs to capture new market opportunities.
- Evangelize OpenText solutions within the HPE ecosystem through regular sales meetings, local events, and enablement sessions.
- Guide localization efforts, program alignment, and delivery capabilities to support customer success.
- Share best practices and partner strategies with other regional alliance teams to continuously strengthen our global approach.

- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage C-level executives and senior leadership.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert joint opportunities.
- Expertise in program and project management to drive partner enablement and marketing initiatives.
- Ability to influence at all organizational levels with diplomacy and strategic insight.
- Strong communication, presentation, and planning skills with a focus on business value and solution alignment.
