Your impact:

  • Reporting to the Manager, Collections, the Collection Specialist brings solid experience in global collections to deliver on collections targets.
  • You have a passion for delivering best-in-class customer experience in the cash collections function and the drive to continuously learn and support the Cash Collections strategy.
  • Own a portfolio of accounts with full accountability for timely collections and accurate customer information.
  • Take the lead on resolving collections disputes effectively within your portfolio.
  • Proactively identify 'at-risk' accounts before they hit 90 days past due, flagging contentious items to leadership early.
  • Collaborate with peers to support collections activity across portfolios and help meet cash flow targets.
  • Stay current with evolving collections practices and processes.
  • Contribute to high-impact projects and initiatives that drive best-in-class process and practice for the Cash Collections function.

What You Need To Succeed:

  • Experienced in collections, preferably in global B2B environments.
  • Enrolment in an accredited Credit and Collections program.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to solve issues right the first time, backed by solid written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Excel.
  • A self-starting, continuous improvement mindset combined with strong team-player instincts and the ability to thrive in a continuously changing environment.
