As an HR Shared Services Specialist at OpenText, you play a vital role in delivering operational excellence. You are part of a dynamic, collaborative team that ensures our employees experience seamless HR processes throughout their journey—from onboarding to offboarding. Your expertise in managing complex transactions and your commitment to continuous improvement help shape a high-performing, customer-centric HR function.

What The Role Offers

  • Ownership of end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, organizational changes, leave management, and offboarding.
  • Execution of moderate to complex HR transactions with precision and care.
  • Collaboration with HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintenance of accurate employee records and HR documentation in line with policy and system updates.
  • Contribution to the HR Knowledgebase and self-service portal to empower employees and streamline operations.
  • Preparation of monthly reports and participation in internal audits to uphold data integrity and compliance.
  • Support for system testing, upgrades, and implementation of new HR technologies.
  • Active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

What You Need To Succeed

  • 1–2 years of progressive experience in HR operations or shared services within the EMEA region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, particularly in the Nordics, and familiarity with regional compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional customer service mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality employee experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP/SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a drive for continuous learning and process optimization.
