The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Director of eDiscovery Cloud Services to lead our UK and Europe based team.
Your impact: The successful candidate will manage a group of professionals and 'lead by example' in the delivery of exceptional eDiscovery services to high-value customers, fostering repeat business and long-term partnerships. The Director will build strong relationships with key customer contacts and develop resilient partnerships with internal teams including Forensics, Managed Review, Sales, Product Management, Customer Support, and Operations. This position reports to the Senior Director of eDiscovery Services.
What the role offers:
- Provide direction and support to the department, aligning with the company's initiatives and objectives, and motivate staff to achieve high levels of success.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee project management, account management, litigation support, and consulting services for assigned high-value accounts, both directly and through team efforts.
- Work closely with other managers, project managers, technical project managers, data analysts, consultants, and account managers to ensure cohesive service delivery.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership in addressing customer concerns, collaborating with other departments as necessary to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
- Provide training to direct reports and act as a resource to customers when appropriate, ensuring they are well-informed and supported.
- Directly manage delivery managers and staff, including conducting performance reviews, making recommendations for promotions or raises, awarding bonuses, hiring staff, and taking disciplinary actions when necessary.
What you need to succeed:
- Leadership: Demonstrates commitment through effective leadership, fostering trust and influencing positive outcomes.
- Market Knowledge: Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the eDiscovery marketplace.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university (e.g. LLB, BSc, MSc, MBA).
- Management Experience: At least five years of direct staff management experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), litigation document review workflows, complex searches related to litigation, Technology Assisted Review (TAR), and Continuous Active Learning (CAL).
- Software Proficiency: Extensive experience using advanced eDiscovery software applications; familiarity with OpenText's suite of eDiscovery solutions is highly advantageous.
