In this role, you will:

  • Design the core experiences that restaurants, partners, and internal teams use to connect to OpenTable — from onboarding, reporting, security, to APIs and partner tools.
  • Collaborate closely with a smart and dedicated team of product designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver practical, high‑quality solutions that scale.
  • Champion product concepts that expertly balance customer needs with critical business goals.
  • Become an expert in restaurants’ needs by planning and facilitating research with restaurant owners and staff; turning findings into actionable design direction.

You enjoy solving complex design challenges and are a systems thinker. You have experience designing for web and have an exceptional portfolio that showcases a breadth of product design work. You also have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product design.
  • Experience designing for B2B experiences or a proven track record of solving for highly complex workflows.
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops with cross‑functional partners.
  • Led end‑to‑end user research initiatives including planning, facilitating, and synthesis to translate findings into intuitive, evidence‑based design solutions that directly address user pain points.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and can self‑direct to deliver against agreed‑upon commitments.
  • Previous experience with integrations and APIs is a plus.
  • Strong visual and interaction skills.
  • The ability to negotiate, prioritize, and break down design work into measurable outcomes while advocating for the user.
  • Incorporated AI into workflows to improve and speed up design process and outcomes.
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn from others.
  • An appetite and appreciation for feedback from stakeholders and peers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and can clearly articulate design decisions.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Expertise in Figma and other prototyping tools.
