The Position

We are looking for a driven, analytical and creative organic search & growth marketer to join us as Marketing Manager, SEO. You’ll be responsible for formulating and implementing scalable SEO strategies across 10+ OpenTable domains, with a focus on improving organic visibility and driving revenue growth through organic search.

This is a specialist global role ideal for someone who prefers to be a self-starter, enjoys building from the ground up, and is passionate about identifying growth opportunities through data. You’re data-obsessed, user-centric, open-minded for testing, iterating, optimising, and fluent in turning insights into measurable SEO performance. You’ve either built or rebuilt systems that delivered real growth—and you can prove it.

The ideal candidate brings deep understanding of technical , and hands-on experience in off-page link-building , along with strong on-page expertise within the consumer tech space, a strong grasp of internationalisation and localisation, and a nuanced understanding of the evolving search landscape, user journeys, and online booking behaviours. You’re an agile thinker, highly collaborative, and skilled at balancing collaborator input with SEO standard methodologies.

You thrive in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment. You’re quick-acting, diligent to details, independent but also able to work through collaborator requirements with a positive and flexible demeanour. Organization, ability to handle feedback and ‘make-it-work’ is critical!

Responsibilities

  • You will own, develop and implement impactful SEO strategies with measurable results.
  • Be accountable for your projects, including set up, tracking, monitoring and reporting on progress and outcomes.
  • Use available data to analyse opportunities, quantify performance and supervise competitors – suggesting tactical changes and strategies based on your analysis.
  • Build logical improvement & implementation plans for global SEO page templates; optimise website content, internal linking structure and scalable content production.
  • Find opportunities to continually test and iterate on landing page templates, modules and content to improve user experience (e.g. bounce rate) and SERP performance (e.g. CTR, rankings).
  • Develop and implement scalable link-building strategies to attract high-quality referral domains and improve website authority.
  • Work with technical teams to resolve technical SEO issues and enhance website performance.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Content, and Market teams to implement SEO projects that support global and local growth goals.
  • Ensure marketing campaigns are SEO-optimised and contribute to domain authority, finding opportunities for micro-level content and link strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver clear reports and post-implementation analysis to communicate SEO performance and project impact to collaborators.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, analytics, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of marketing experience with in-depth SEO expertise in the consumer tech industry (preferably with an in-house team ). Other product management, digital marketing, data analysis or software engineering experience is a plus.
  • A strategic understanding of large-scale SEO : projects that scale globally and bring measurable results.
  • Develop and implement innovative link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings, while collaborating closely with content and web development teams to ensure optimal SEO performance.
  • Excellent quantitative skills – expert fluency with numbers and data analysis using Google Sheets is critical.
  • Comfortable with responsibility, and able to develop a project independently once goals are set.
  • Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure results are aligned to requested technical specs and needed timelines, and then iterate and optimise based on performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of significant search engine updates, and the logical extension and application of these to international, large-scale websites. Self-motivated in following the latest developments in the SEO industry with a view to testing for yourself to establish validity and impact.
  • Understanding of modern front-end markup (principally HTML and CSS). Proficiency in landing page prototyping tools is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work against timelines in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills. Fluency in English at a native proficiency – fluency in one additional European language is a plus (preferably German).
