About the Job
OpenTable's Diner Marketing team is looking for a Manager, Digital Marketing to join us on a 6-month contract basis. In this role, you will own and drive paid social performance across Meta and TikTok — managing campaigns end-to-end, building and iterating on performance creative, and using data to optimize toward measurable business outcomes. This is a fully independent, high-impact role designed for a seasoned paid social operator who can plug in quickly and deliver results without a lengthy ramp period. You'll sit within our growth marketing function, working closely with creative, analytics, and channel teams to continuously test, learn, and scale what works.
Responsibilities
- Own paid social campaign strategy and execution across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, managing full campaign lifecycles from initial brief through optimization, budget pacing, and performance reporting.
- Lead a rigorous creative testing program — developing hypotheses, briefing assets to in-house designers, launching structured A/B and multivariate tests, and synthesizing learnings to inform future creative iterations.
- Partner with in-house designers and creative teams to develop high-performing ad creative tailored to each platform's best practices, audience behaviours, and evolving ad formats.
- Analyze campaign performance on a regular cadence, translating data into clear, actionable optimizations and confident recommendations for budget allocation across channels.
- Manage day-to-day paid social budgets with a performance-first mindset, maintaining pacing and efficiency against key metrics including CPA, ROAS, CTR, and CVR.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Brand, and Growth teams to ensure paid social strategy is aligned with broader diner acquisition and retention goals.
- Monitor platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging ad formats across Meta and TikTok to continuously bring fresh, informed thinking to the channel.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands‑on digital ads experience with deep, proven expertise in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and TikTok Ads Manager.
- Demonstrated track record of owning creative testing frameworks and driving measurable performance improvements through structured experimentation.
- Fluency in performance marketing metrics (CPA, ROAS, CTR, CVR) with the ability to use data to make fast, confident optimization decisions.
- Experience independently managing significant paid social budgets with a rigorous approach to efficiency, pacing, and forecasting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to clearly articulate performance narratives and creative hypotheses to cross‑functional partners and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in working with Meta product catalog feeds.
- Experience in consumer or diner marketing, e‑commerce, or a two‑sided marketplace environment.
- Familiarity with incrementality measurement methodologies (e.g., geo‑based lift tests, holdout studies) and third‑party measurement tools.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, lean team environment where you own your roadmap and manage your own priorities.
