The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading international FMCG organisation to appoint a Head of Enterprise Architecture to lead global architecture strategy across IT and OT environments. This is a high-impact leadership role, shaping the future-state architecture across a complex, multi-country organisation undergoing significant transformation (ERP, SAP S/4HANA, MES, Data Platforms, AI/ML). You will operate at executive level, influencing business and technology strategy across supply chain, manufacturing, commercial, and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise architecture blueprint (business, data, application, technology)
- Lead architecture across major transformation programmes (ERP, MES, CRM, Data/AI)
- Establish and govern architecture standards, principles, and review boards
- Drive integration strategy (APIs, event-driven architecture, real-time data)
- Partner with senior stakeholders across: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, HR, Commercial
- Lead and develop a central architecture team
- Ensure secure-by-design and scalable technology solutions
- Own technology roadmap and target-state architecture
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading Enterprise Architecture in complex global environments
- Strong background in SAP / ERP ecosystems
- Experience across IT + Operational Technology (OT) (e.g. manufacturing, MES, SCADA)
- Deep understanding of: Cloud (Azure/AWS), Integration (APIs, middleware), Data platforms & MDM
- Strong governance and architecture maturity development
- Excellent stakeholder engagement at C-level
- TOGAF or equivalent preferred
What Success Looks Like
- 6 months: Architecture baseline + roadmap defined, Governance established
- 12 months: Major programme delivering against architecture, Reduced tech debt + improved integration + cost optimisation
