The Role
As a Logistics Business Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in a dynamic team of analysts and functional consultants. Working across various projects and changes, you’ll ensure that business requirements are translated into effective solutions that deliver cost savings, operational efficiencies, or service enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the collection, analysis, documentation, and translation of business requirements into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
- Ensure all activities comply with operational procedures, including Service Management, Project Lifecycle Management, and regulatory controls (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley).
- Support the creation of business cases for change initiatives, documenting work to high standards while recommending improvements to processes and standards.
- Collaborate with 3rd party service providers to troubleshoot escalated incidents and recommend system, data, or process solutions.
- Provide expertise in Business Process design, documentation, and implementation of system or process improvements.
- Facilitate and lead user acceptance testing, training, and system implementations.
About You
We’re seeking a skilled Logistics Business Analyst with a proven track record in supply chain processes and strong stakeholder management capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Extensive experience in EWM and 3PL Logistics business areas.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage IT applications for business advantage.
- A solid understanding of ERP systems, especially SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, and other EWM/3PL logistics-related tools.
- Experience managing 3rd party providers and ensuring IT service delivery and application support.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Analysis across both Waterfall and Agile environments.
- Demonstrable expertise in business process design and a deep understanding of Business Partner Master Data and Material Master Data.
