We’re looking for a Lead Magento Developer to join a fast-growing eCommerce team and take ownership of delivering high-quality Magento 2 solutions across multiple websites and digital projects. This is a senior, hands-on role with plenty of autonomy, technical influence, and the chance to shape the direction of a modern, scalable eCommerce platform.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the development, optimisation and maintenance of Magento 2 builds
  • Architecting technical solutions across multi-store environments
  • Developing custom modules, integrations and high-performance functionality
  • Overseeing code quality, reviews, standards and best practices
  • Working closely with eCommerce, UX, design and commercial teams
  • Taking technical ownership of releases, performance, and overall platform reliability
  • Mentoring junior developers and contributing to wider engineering strategy

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong, proven experience with Magento 2 (Commerce or Open Source)
  • Advanced PHP, MySQL, JavaScript understanding
  • Experience delivering custom modules, API integrations and scalable builds
  • Solid grasp of performance optimisation, caching and security patches
  • Confident working with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows
  • Ability to lead projects, influence technical direction and communicate well across teams
  • Experience working in an agency or eCommerce-driven environment (ideal but not essential)
