Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a role with a genuinely manageable caseload and proper support? We’re recruiting for a modern, growing residential conveyancing firm offering experienced conveyancers the opportunity to focus on quality legal work without the unrealistic workloads often associated with high-volume conveyancing.

You’ll benefit from a genuinely capped caseload, structured onboarding and a dedicated post-completion team, giving you the support and autonomy to provide an excellent service to your clients.

The Role

  • You’ll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
    • Residential sales and purchases
    • Re-mortgages
    • Freehold and leasehold transactions
    • New-build and shared ownership matters
    • Investigating title issues and identifying legal risks
    • Completing fraud and compliance checks
    • Managing completions and secure fund transfers
    • Handling Stamp Duty submissions
    • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
    • Working alongside the post-completion team on registrations and file closures
    • Supporting junior members of the team when required

What We’re Looking For

  • You’ll ideally be:
    • A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional
    • Experienced managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
    • Ideally 3+ years’ PQE
    • Experienced across freehold, leasehold, new-build and shared ownership transactions
    • Confident communicating with clients and other stakeholders
    • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
    • Proactive and commercially aware with a strong understanding of legal risk
    • Experience using LEAP is beneficial but not essential.
