Are you an engineer who thrives on variety, autonomy, and solving real problems on-site? We're recruiting on behalf of a growing name in industrial robotics and automation, looking for an experienced Robotic Service Engineer to join their UK field service team. You'll be the go-to expert for customers across the UK, keeping their ABB, FANUC, and KUKA robotic systems running at their best β€” from planned maintenance to critical breakdown support. No two days look the same, and you'll have real ownership over the sites you support.

What you'll be doing:

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on industrial robotic systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and programming faults
  • Emergency breakdown response to minimise customer downtime
  • Robot mastering, calibration, backups, and system recovery
  • Supporting commissioning and re-commissioning after repairs or upgrades
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with customers on-site and remotely

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience servicing industrial robots (ABB, FANUC, and/or KUKA)
  • Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, and controls systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide, including occasional overnight stays
  • A calm, professional, customer-first approach β€” especially under pressure

Bonus points for:

  • PLC experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi)
  • HNC/HND or apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Automation
  • Robot programming and commissioning experience
