We’re hiring a Senior Insight Analyst to join a fast-paced, data-driven retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in commercial analytics and wants to make a direct impact on pricing, profitability, and customer behaviour.

About the Role – Senior Insight Analyst

As a Senior Insight Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing complex datasets to inform pricing strategies, customer segmentation, and commercial decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to drive growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets using BigQuery and SQL to provide insights on pricing, profitability, and customer behaviour

• Design, monitor, and evaluate customer pricing experiments with the commercial team

• Understand and improve data accuracy through knowledge of data layers and Google Tags

• Build dashboards and visualisations (Power BI preferred, but not essential)

• Present insights to key stakeholders to support strategic decisions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in a retail or commercial analytics role (must understand pounds & pence, margins, and customer pricing)

• Excellent skills in BigQuery and SQL

• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and working with web data layers

• Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations

• Candidates from banking, government, or academic data science roles are unlikely to be a fit

The Offer

• Salary: £50,000 -£60,000 depending on experience

• Contract: Permanent

• Location: London office, hybrid working (Tues-Thurs in office, Mon/Fri remote)

• Start: ASAP
