What you’ll be doing:
- Build scalable web applications
- Develop APIs and backend services
- Create high-quality front-end experiences
- Work inside Agile squads
- Contribute to architecture & technical decisions
- Review code and improve engineering standards
- Mentor others (Lead level)
- Support estimation & solution design
Core Stack:
- Frontend: React (Vue useful)
- Backend: Laravel / Symfony
- Data: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Environment: Git, CI/CD, cloud-hosted, containerisation where needed
What we need:
- Strong commercial software development background
- Laravel experience is key (3+ years)
- Solid React or Vue
- Experience building & consuming APIs
- Comfortable working with changing client requirements
- Able to commute to Edinburgh 2 days per week
