Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a role with a genuinely manageable caseload and proper support?
We're recruiting for a modern, growing residential conveyancing firm offering experienced conveyancers the opportunity to focus on quality legal work without the unrealistic workloads often associated with high-volume conveyancing.
You'll benefit from a genuinely capped caseload , structured onboarding and a dedicated post-completion team, giving you the support and autonomy to provide an excellent service to your clients.
The Role
You'll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
- Residential sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages
- Freehold and leasehold transactions
- New-build and shared ownership matters
- Investigating title issues and identifying legal risks
- Completing fraud and compliance checks
- Managing completions and secure fund transfers
- Handling Stamp Duty submissions
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Working alongside the post-completion team on registrations and file closures
- Supporting junior members of the team when required
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally be:
- A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional
- Experienced managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
- Ideally 3+ years' PQE
- Experienced across freehold, leasehold, new-build and shared ownership transactions
- Confident communicating with clients and other stakeholders
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and commercially aware with a strong understanding of legal risk
Experience using LEAP is beneficial but not essential.
