About the Role
Opensourced® is partnered with a leading secure-tech consultancy seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing Central Government programmes.
You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and evolving AWS-based cloud infrastructure that is reliable, scalable, and security-driven. This is a hands-on position where you’ll deliver modern automation and observability practices, while also mentoring junior engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, implementing, and optimising AWS environments
- Deploying & managing Kubernetes clusters with Helm & Docker
- Driving automation and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Building CI/CD pipelines and enabling secure delivery practices
- Implementing observability with CloudWatch, Grafana & ELK
- Supporting junior engineers through mentoring & knowledge-sharing
Core Skills & Experience
- Strong AWS engineering background
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
- Observability/monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK)
- Automation/config management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- UK Security Clearance (SC) required – sole British nationals only
