About The Role
This is a hands‑on role, focused on managing the day‑to‑day delivery of a wide range of Quality Assurance activities within your team. You will be responsible for coordinating and prioritising daily tasks, and ensuring delivery targets are met. In this role you will work across stakeholders to ensure open tickets and issues are driven to closure and followed up on in a timely fashion. You will have a deep understanding of the data your team works with and the processes they follow, acting as an expert in all solutions, tools, and procedures used within your area, ensuring these are applied consistently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day activities of the team, setting daily and weekly priorities and targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of the data and processes and be the point of contact for questions about data definitions, interpretations, and all processes used by your team.
- Contribute to process analysis and improvement initiatives by providing insights and feedback from daily operations.
- Plan and monitor team capacity and throughput across various processes and activities.
- Own the issues management process, including triage, coordination of stakeholders and liaising with customer‑facing teams to ensure issues are closed and followed up on in a timely manner.
- Work with senior stakeholders to implement new processes and activities in your team, provide necessary training, and monitor impact and performance.
- Report on data activities, data quality and performance of the processes on regular stakeholder calls.
- Support, mentor and develop your team members to build a happy and resilient team.
- Install and encourage continuous improvement in your team.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role (Quality Assurance, Operations, or related field), including people management and team leadership.
- Strong data literacy, with experience analysing and interpreting large datasets (e.g., SQL, Power BI, or similar tools).
- High proficiency in Excel and confident handling large volumes of data.
- Demonstrated project management experience, with a record of delivering initiatives and measuring their impact.
- Track record of improving process performance and efficiency through operational or analytical initiatives.
- Curious, inquisitive, and proactive—takes ownership and drives continuous improvement.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
Desired
- Degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science or similar.
- Project Management certification beneficial.
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification beneficial.
