About You
We're looking for a proactive Finance Manager who will support the finance function in a fast-moving, technology-led business, who thrives on complex challenges, and is passionate about solving real-world problems. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will ensure our private equity-backed business maintains strong day-to-day financial control and operational efficiency as it continues to scale.
You’ll bring strong technical skills, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to turn financial data into clear, meaningful insights for the wider business. It’s a hugely varied position with massive scope, giving you the chance to get involved in all areas of finance as we grow. What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and sharp numerical acumen.
- Proven problem-solver who thrives under pressure and manages competing priorities effectively.
- Solid experience of core finance processes, reconciliations, and controls - including month-end close, statutory reporting, and VAT.
- Proficient excel user, financial modelling experience is considered a plus.
- Proven experience with finance systems.
- Experience working with external specialists and advisers on finance matters.
- A collaborative mindset and a drive to solve challenging, real-world problems.
- Genuine excitement about reshaping the rental industry through innovative solutions.
- Experience in a start-up or scale-up would be beneficial.

About The Role
As a Finance Manager you'll:
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes smoothly and accurately, including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset registers, and the monthly management reporting packs.
- Prepare VAT returns and FCA filings within strict deadlines, taking full ownership of statutory accounts and the annual audit process.
- Provide accurate financial data to support forecasting.Monitor expenditure and profitability trends, delivering practical analysis to guide commercial decision-making.
- Review existing financial workflows to eliminate inefficiencies, automate manual tasks, and improve reporting speed.
- Collaborate across teams to deeply understand user needs and deliver revolutionary solutions.
- Influence company-wide decisions and have a say in what we build and how we build it.
