How will you add value to the OpenPayd journey:
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end accounting process for the Group\\\βs UK based e-money institution β including reconciliation of cash and client accounts open positions currently around β 450m-β 500m
- Overall responsibility for managing of open receivables including liaising with Customer Success team to ensure recovery of aged balances
- Manage and co-ordinating introducer commission process from monthly calculations, statements, invoicing and payments and implement enhancements to this important process
- Work with Commercial and Customer Success teams to provide finance oversight of manual fee calculations and revenue share including raising adjustments required in the back office platform and invoices where necessary and ensuring all are correctly reflected in revenue reporting.
- Work with Commercial and Customer Success teams on general fee related issues
- Approve fees for new clients as part of the client onboarding process within our payments platform, and also for amendments to fees for existing clients
- Manage payments and recharges to clients made in accordance with the FCA mandated APP recovery scheme
- Work with the Deloitte external auditors to support the annual financial audit
The ideal candidate will have the following
- Newly qualified accountant with experience in a commercial environment preferable
- Understanding of e-money payment services is useful but not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Financial qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Good knowledge of IFRS or similar accounting rules
- Forward-thinking and adaptable
