How will you add to the OpenPayd journey?

  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify and address any compliance issues promptly;
  • Assist in responding to compliance queries and managing regulatory investigations or reviews;
  • Stay abreast of changes in UK and EU regulations and communicate relevant updates on potential impacts to internal stakeholders;
  • Assist in regulatory reporting, ensuring timely submission of reports to the FCA and other relevant authorities;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and ensure completeness and accuracy in reporting;
  • Work closely with the legal and global compliance team to develop and update internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory updates;
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to compliance policies;
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks;
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize the company’s exposure to regulatory and compliance issues;
  • Provide training to employees on compliance best practices;
  • Foster a culture of compliance awareness within the Company;
  • Provide ad-hoc compliance advice to business divisions where required;
  • Undertake other responsibilities necessary for the proper performance of the role.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or a related field;
  • 3+ years’ experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the financial industry;
  • In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory requirements, particularly those related to the financial industry;
  • Strong people skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in teams and on complex programs;
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and in particular to be able to present credibly and professionally to senior management;
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
