How will you add value to the OpenPayd journey?

  • Conduct independent quality control reviews of:
    • Customer onboarding process
    • Transaction monitoring alerts and investigations
    • Periodic and event‑driven customer reviews
  • Assess the completeness, accuracy, and quality of case handling, documentation, and decision‑making
  • Verify compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory obligations, and risk frameworks
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies, control weaknesses, and areas requiring remediation
  • Document review findings and provide clear, constructive feedback to operational teams and managers
  • Produce quality control reports, scorecards, trend analysis, and management information (MI)
  • Monitor recurring issues and identify opportunities for process improvements and targeted training
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action plans
  • Partner with Onboarding, Financial Crime Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams to improve quality standards and consistency
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality control methodologies, checklists, and review frameworks
  • Assist with regulatory, internal audit, and compliance assurance activities where required
  • Support the expansion of the Quality Control framework into additional operational functions over time
  • Participate in quality initiatives designed to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience
  • Help drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across Operations

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or a similar operational oversight role
  • Strong understanding of KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and customer lifecycle management processes
  • Knowledge of transaction monitoring and financial crime controls
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to assess complex cases and apply policies consistently
  • Experience producing reports and management information
  • Experience within fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated financial services environments
  • Understanding of AML, sanctions, fraud, and financial crime regulations
  • Experience with quality assurance frameworks, audit methodologies, or compliance testing
  • Familiarity with case management and workflow systems
