People and Culture Advisor

Openfolde is looking for a proactive, people-focused and detail-oriented HR professional who’s passionate about creating a great employee experience while delivering effective HR support across our business.

This is an office based role.

What you’ll do

With at least 3 years recent experience of working in a busy envionment, as People and Culture Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping a positive, inclusive workplace culture while delivering practical, high-quality HR support across our teams in NI, GB and ROI.

You’ll work closely with the Head of People and Culture, as well as colleagues across Openfolde and its subsidiary businesses, to provide balanced people-centred support, handling challenging and sensitive situations with discretion, tact and professionalism.

What you’ll bring

• Strong knowledge of UK and/or NI employment law and HR best practice with at least 3 years experience in the last 5 years
• Demonstrated experience handling end-to-end employee relations cases (e. g. disciplinary, grievance,
• performance management)
• Understanding of core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, probation and policy implementation
• Experience working in a private sector environment with fast paced, commercially driven decision making
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and build trust at all levels
• Highly organised self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise appropriately.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to maintain discretion and strict confidentiality
• Knowledge of HR practices in multi-site and/or multi-jurisdictional organisations – NI, UK, ROI
• Providing alignement between people policies and payroll
• Experience contributing to policy development
• Experience in change management
• Understanding of learning and development processes
• Experience in data driven HR, including using analytics to support decision making
• Experience in providing basic training/coaching to managers and HR related workshops or information sessions
• Experience using HR IT platforms, we use People HR

We provide a competitive salary for this role £32-34k p. a. (FTE), depending on experience and reviewed each July.
