About the Role
HERE is expanding and hiring an experienced Sales Director for the EMEA Sales team. The role is focused on building the SaaS footprint across SME organisations in industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, Metals & Mining, and Utilities. You will drive new business, create pipelines, and expand within those firms. Success is measured by generating a significant pipeline, communicating the Enterprise SaaS value proposition, and managing a high volume of opportunities. The role concentrates on the UK and Continental Europe. The role is an individual contributor; the holder will be responsible for growing and achieving sales targets, not managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong pipeline with new logos, proactive prospecting, effective contact, strategic account networking, and qualification skills.
- Meet sales quota and drive success by executing campaigns and achieving annual targets using a measurable sales process (MEDDICC).
- Cultivate strong client relationships throughout the full sales cycle.
- Become a solutions consultant, applying industry insights, enterprise challenges, and digital transformation strategies to customer needs.
- Become a HERE expert, mastering product and technology, communicating value propositions with confidence to senior stakeholders, and representing HERE at industry events.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of direct SME SaaS sales experience across at least two or more industries (financial services, manufacturing, metals & mining, energy).
- Confidence in selling to the UK and Continental Europe, focusing on UK, Ireland, France, Germany, and Spain.
- Experience selling enterprise platform tools and generating pipeline from proactive outreach.
- Proven track record of closing higher-volume deals in direct sales.
- Aptitude for learning technical concepts and presenting value propositions aligned with customer priorities.
- Ability to manage stakeholder communications and drive a sales process from start to finish.
- Enthusiasm for technology and HERE’s mission.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, active listening, negotiation, and presentation.
- Business proficiency in a second European language (preferred).
