Our drivers are essential key workers in the British Food supply chain helping to feed Britain. They are responsible for moving bulk grain, oilseeds, pulses and TASSC approved products from farms and stores to customers across the UK. Our drivers are a key point of contact with our customers and represent the Company every day. Service is important to us so flexibility, initiative and a customer-focused approach are key to delivering our high standards of efficient and effective service.
Newly qualified Class 1 drivers are welcome to apply. Full training and support will be provided to every driver around the bulk haulage operation and in all other aspects of the job role.
What we are looking for:
· Class 1 (C&E) licence holder and CPC qualified.
· Tramping (staying in cab overnight).
· Bulk Tipper experience preferred, but training will be provided
· Excellent driving skills and road safety knowledge
· Good housekeeping routines and awareness of health and safety obligations
· Reliable, flexible to meet the needs of the business- this role will involve up to 4 nights out per week.
· Courteous approach with great communication skills.
