At OpenExchange, we video enable the vital daily communications of the financial services, professional investment industry and wider public and private companies with advanced one to one, one to many, and many to many video technologies, tools and high touch services. The Account Executive will be primarily responsible for sourcing and landing new client logo accounts and will execute the Company’s growth plan with the goal of achieving the assigned sales quota. The AE role is fully virtual.
Responsibilities:
- As a self-starter, you will quickly and effectively establish key relationships with decision makers within large enterprises.
- Selling communication technology enabled managed services in the form of virtual events, conferences and secure hosted virtual meetings for Investor Relations, Corporate Communications functions and Senior Management within public and private companies.
- You will drive for results with a “hunter” mentality, meeting and exceeding monthly/quarterly revenue objectives by prospecting, securing meetings, and closing new business.
- You will also provide weekly reporting and pipeline management and will complete all weekly pipeline and activity reporting in accordance with OpenExchange’s forecasting cadence.
- You will serve as the Voice of the Customer and will act as the Customer champion within OpenExchange to ensure we continue to gather product feedback to exceed our commitments and delight our customers.
Qualifications:
- Must be UK based; only UK candidates will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business/economics.
- Minimum of 3 years with a proven track record for enterprise sales success in tech sales/SaaS event services sales.
- Experience selling virtual event services is a plus.
- Proven track record of success and exceeding expectations selling to and developing lasting relationships with your customers.
- Experience and success selling and winning new business opportunities.
- Experience building out a new territory, including establishing and executing on a territory plan.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of how to accurately forecast revenue levels and achieve sales targets in a high-growth environment.
- Strong personal contributor having the desire and energy to roll up sleeves and make things happen.
- Ability to self-organize and self-motivate given the virtual nature of the role.
- Experience using Salesforce.com, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator essential, Outreach knowledge advantageous.
- Experience within a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: The base salary for this role is £40,000–£50,000 per year, with additional commission based on performance.
