Open Awards are looking to recruit a Finance and Resources Assistant to their small and friendly team. This is a varied role covering all aspects e.g. banking, purchase ledger, customer invoicing. You will be required to liaise across teams and be the first point of contact for finance emails, calls and queries.

Responsibilities

  • To provide efficient and effective support for the finance and resources functions of Open Awards.
  • To work independently and with the Finance and Resources Officer to deliver timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and reconciliations.
  • To ensure continuous improvement of Open Awards finance and resources systems and procedures.
  • To provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.

Knowledge & Experience

  • AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable or experience in book-keeping.
  • Must have Level 2 qualification in English and maths or above.
  • Experience of SAGE or a similar accounting system.
  • Ability to problem solve and liaise with other teams to resolve queries.
  • Experience of working within an accounts or finance team.
  • Experience of Human Resources procedures.
