We’re looking for a Procurement Officer to play a key role in supporting and leading activity across a range of projects and categories. At Ambition North Wales, we’re committed to making a meaningful impact through procurement. We take a strategic, forward-thinking approach, focusing on building strong supplier relationships, delivering value, and embedding sustainability into everything we do. This is not a routine procurement role. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where your contributions are valued, your ideas are heard, and your work makes a real difference.

Responsibilities
- Managing complex projects and negotiations, ensuring value for money and strong supplier performance.
- Supporting the development of sourcing strategies that reflect our environmental and social values.
- Using data and analysis to inform planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and systems.
- Supporting and sharing knowledge with the procurement team, stepping into a leadership role when required to ensure continuity and progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the role, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier engagement.
- ACIPS qualification (or equivalent), with a strong understanding of public procurement principles.
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to solve problems and drive improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence using digital tools and systems to support activity.
