Role and responsibilities
The Engagement Coordinator will support the values and ethos of Open Road and champion its work by managing the Substance Misuse Open Access service. The Engagement Coordinator will create a supportive, welcoming environment for clients to seek help, supervising and working alongside a team of Recovery Volunteers and Peer Mentors.
What you need
- Accomplished written and verbal communications skills with the ability to transmit key messages quickly and clearly.
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
- Confidence in running forward facing activities, a friendly, outgoing and approachable manner in order to build positive and trusting relationships and a proactive approach to connecting with different organisations and groups.
- The ability to welcome clients in an empathetic and non-judgmental way.
