Smarter, Faster Care. Join the Digital Health Revolution. At Open Medical, we have one driving mission: Smarter, Faster Care. We are the experts behind Pathpoint, the award-winning platform synchronising clinical workflows and transforming patient outcomes globally. We’re hiring a Head of Global Marketing and Growth who thrives on challenges and is committed to making a measurable difference. This is a high-visibility, commercially driven marketing role where you take personal responsibility for shaping how our brand expands in existing markets, and enters new markets, unlocking opportunities for expansion across the UK, Ireland, Middle East, and beyond! This role reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer.
Our team is full-time in-office, as this is how we feel we collaborate, problem-solve, and develop ourselves the best. Our HQ is in Ealing Broadway, West London. Given the global nature of this role, you will be expected to travel internationally to key regions as required. We are a small, fast-moving team of around 35, and growing! This means real ownership and visible impact right from the start, shaping our global marketing strategy in close collaboration with the Executive Team. This role has been created as part of our new strategic aims for the next 5 years, focusing on our Group Annual Recurring Revenue growth, targeting regional and national level contracts across the globe.
The Mission
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Marketing Strategy: Design and execute the comprehensive market expansion and demand generation plans for Ireland and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
- Sales & Marketing Alignment: Act as the strategic marketing partner to regional sales teams. You will supply them with localised collateral, market insights, and highly targeted leads, ensuring marketing efforts seamlessly and directly lead to sales conversations.
- Strategic Campaign Execution: Alongside our Senior Marketing Manager, you will also support the core UK marketing engine, personally building and executing high-stakes, targeted initiatives—such as bespoke campaigns targeting both national-level governments, ministries, and regional hospital groups, both in the UK and abroad.
- Brand Localisation & Messaging: Translate our core value proposition into compelling, region-specific narratives. You will craft high-level marketing copy that addresses local compliance, procurement nuances, and clinical needs in new territories.
- Policy Influence & Market Access: Position our solutions at the forefront of national healthcare transformation. You will design strategic thought leadership initiatives and advocacy campaigns that align with state-level health strategies (such as Saudi Vision 2030 or Ireland’s Sláintecare), engaging key policymakers, regulatory bodies, and public health influencers to shape regional digital health standards and accelerate market adoption.
- Global Event Leadership: Spearhead the marketing strategy for major international trade shows (e.g., WHX Tech, Global Health Exhibition). You’ll go beyond booking the booth by driving the pre-event outreach, on-the-ground marketing activation, and post-event lead nurturing.
- Market Insights & Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the international market. Feed vital localisation, competitor analysis, and regional trends back to our Product and Leadership teams to keep our innovation "smarter and faster."
What You Bring
- Strategic Marketing Expertise: 8–12+ years of experience in B2B marketing, market development, or growth, with a proven track record of taking SaaS or HealthTech products into new international markets.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Essential experience in the digital health sector and a solid grasp of complex healthcare ecosystems (experience with the Irish HSE or GCC health authorities is a distinct advantage).
- Strategic Architect & Practical Executer: You don’t just map out international marketing expansion plans on paper; you drive them forward yourself. You have the intellectual weight to navigate complex global healthcare ecosystems, paired with the practical, hands-on ability to personally craft localised landing pages and launch high-stakes GTM campaigns.
- Relationship Mastery: The ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, collaborating seamlessly with internal sales teams, external agencies, and international distribution partners. Our strategy is focused around gaining traction in Regional and National level contracts, and we are looking for someone who has had previous experience at these levels.
- Commercial & Scale-Minded: This is a role for a commercially minded marketing leader who wants genuine ownership, influence and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on business growth. You are excited by the challenge of taking a proven platform and driving the pipeline necessary to help us scale toward our long-term growth goals.
Who You Are
- A True Team Player: You thrive in a diverse, collaborative environment and win as a team. You know how to partner with both sales leaders and our existing marketing team.
- Mission-Driven: You genuinely care about the healthcare space and the impact of digital transformation.
- A Standard-Bearer: You take immense pride in doing your very best work and hold yourself, and others, to an exceptional standard.
- Commercial & Responsible: You understand that marketing must drive business growth. You take personal responsibility for generating high-quality pipeline, market penetration, and elevating our brand reputation internationally.
- Strategic yet Hands-On: You don’t just sit in the strategic ivory tower. You are ready to execute the heavy lifting—diving deep into market research, crafting region-specific messaging, and personally driving high-value Account-Based Marketing (ABM) sprints.
What’s In It For You?
- Shape the Global Narrative: You won't just follow a script; you'll have the opportunity to design and execute the overarching marketing and market-entry strategies for complex new global regions.
- Gain High-Level Exposure: Work directly with the executive team, acting as a strategic advisor on international positioning, market localisation, and global demand generation.
- Master the HealthTech Landscape: Deepen your expertise in international healthcare systems, positioning yourself at the forefront of a booming global industry.
- True Autonomy: We give you the freedom and runway to lead our international marketing expansion from the get-go. We don’t rely on rigid training wheels or hand-holding; we expect you to execute independently and proactively pull in support whenever needed to ensure success.
