About the Role

At Open Medical, we have one driving mission: Smarter, Faster Care. We are looking for a proactive HR and Office Assistant to join our team on an initial 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This role is a vital addition to support us through a busy period of increased recruitment, with the potential to convert into a permanent, full‑time position depending on business needs. We are open to both full‑time and reduced FTE candidates for this role. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role perfect for someone who is keen to learn and loves getting involved in both people and office operations.

Our Environment

Our team is full‑time in‑office, as we believe this is how we collaborate, problem‑solve, and develop ourselves best. Based at our HQ in Ealing Broadway, West London, we are a small, fast‑moving team of around 35 and growing!

What you will be doing

  • Recruitment: Drafting and posting job adverts, corresponding with recruitment agencies, CV and phone screening candidates, liaising with hiring managers and candidates, interview booking and note taking.
  • Onboarding: Drafting and sending out offer letters, conducting reference and background checks, coordinating the new starter workflow, delivery of selected induction sessions.
  • HR Administration: Maintenance of HR databases and systems, managing issue and return of company assets, coordinating appraisals and other HR related meetings.
  • Office Support: Answering the phone, directing calls, welcoming visitors, coordinating meeting rooms, serving as the main point of contact for office supplies, general tidiness and maintenance of the office.
