The Role
Open Medical is seeking an experienced
Digital Implementation Manager to drive the successful deployment of our Pathpoint platform modules across diverse healthcare organisations.
In this role, you will own the implementation lifecycle from inception to go‑live, bridging the gap between clinical stakeholders, end-users, and internal teams.
This hands‑on position requires project management expertise, stakeholder engagement, workflow analysis, and operational strategy design to deliver seamless digital transformation.
We need a proactive problem‑solver who takes immediate ownership, hits the ground running, and drives practical solutions, applying sound judgement to distinguish between when to solve issues directly and when to upscale.
We are a small, fast-moving team of around 30 people, which means you will experience real ownership and see the visible impact of your work from early on.

This is a full‑time, office based role in Ealing Broadway, London, with a degree of travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation lifecycle of Pathpoint modules from initial scoping through to a successful go‑live.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with clinicians, managers and end users to design workflows, change processes, challenge existing practices, and enable successful Pathpoint implementation
- Lead and guide internal teams, including line management responsibilities, to deliver operational excellence and embed sustainable change.
- Translate scope requirements into technical briefs and produce detailed workflow maps to optimise the adoption of the platform for the client's environment.
- Support technical leads with functional testing when required, guide clients through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and act as escalation point for tier‑2/3 helpdesk team for clients in Business as Usual (BAU) phase.
- Design and execute customised onboarding strategies and project rollout plans tailored to unique client requirements, technical dependencies, and timeline goals.
- Delivery high impact training to users and be present for on‑site launches during go lives.
Travel frequency is often monthly, though this fluctuates depending on active project stages and go‑live schedules.
- Able to adapt swiftly to changing project requirements and mitigate risks under tight deadlines to ensure seamless delivery
- Develop and maintain project documentation and deliverables.
Ensure all project documentation and reports are prepared and delivered as specified and agreed within the project plan.
Experience and Qualifications
- Background & Experience
- Proven track record of managing end‑to‑end software implementations for complex, highly regulated enterprise clients.
- Direct experience within the healthcare setting for software deployments.
- Experience in development of strategies for client onboarding, UAT sessions and using process mapping methodologies.
- Experience in tools such as Jira/Miro for tracking projects and timelines, as well as building processes and workflow maps; bridging client needs with technical briefs for developers.
- Clear evidence of managing direct reports (at least 1+ years), managing performance, workload allocation & team development.
- Demonstrated proficiency to proactively resolve operational blockers using sound judgement, knowing when to solve issues directly and when to elevate risks appropriately, taking personal responsibility at all times.
