Job SummaryAs a Senior Account Executive you will be involved at every stage, from pitch to delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Act as point of contact for specified clients and efficiently handle straightforward enquiries, deferring to senior colleagues as appropriate.

Take responsibility for and manage the day‐to‐day delivery of specific projects, developing the expertise to liaise with clients directly on own aspects of work.

Contribute updates on own projects at client meetings.

Adopt a common‐sense, proactive approach to own aspects of work when faced with new situations or projects.

Develop and adhere to timelines, alerting senior members of the team to issues promptly.

Ensure effective communication of specified project briefs to the internal team.

Ensure all projects meet briefs upon delivery.

Ensure timely delivery of projects.

Manage all financial aspects of specific projects with the support of the Account Director.

Begin to identify opportunities to grow the business within specified accounts.

Demonstrate confidence in accuracy when handing over a previously proofread piece of work.

Understand the various client brand and disease areas.

Interact confidently with key opinion leaders (clinical, industry, NHS).

Begin to understand forecasting and phasing of revenue.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Degree Educated within a scientific discipline (or equivalent).

Experience as an Account Executive or Junior Account Executive in a medcomms, healthcare agency or pharma environment.

Interest and basic understanding of science and medicine.

Demonstrable project management and analytical skills.

Financial acumen.

Ability to multitask and prioritise; excellent time‐management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Competence in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

Good understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice.

Travel Requirements

As required by business needs.
