Reports to Motion & Video Director

Job Summary

Supporting Creative Services excellence by delivering a wide range of high‑quality motion and video projects efficiently. Interrogating and challenging briefs, working closely with account teams, Creative Team Leads and Creative Leads, applying creativity and a keen eye for detail to ensure optimal and innovative solutions to client requests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Producing high quality, visually appealing and technically accurate materials on schedule and according to brief.
  • Producing animated materials for screen.
  • Following brand guidelines and creative concepts initiated by senior creative team.
  • Supporting with creative concept ideation, working closely with Creative Leads, and creation of storyboards where required.
  • Following briefing instructions thoroughly and ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Pushing creative boundaries to exceed customer expectations.
  • Interpreting and challenging creative briefs, where appropriate, and driving collaboration within and across creative and account teams, to ensure the best possible solutions are delivered efficiently.
  • Actioning all requested amends carefully and accurately.
  • Effectively proof‑reading and quality checking own work before returning, taking responsibility for errors and showing willingness to address feedback.
  • Proactively identifying, proposing and implementing improvements in quality of visuals in active projects.
  • Understanding and interpreting brand guidelines, ensuring outputs are brand compliant.
  • Seeking support when required and demonstrating ability to rationalise and defend design decisions.
  • Working with Creative Services Management and freelance staff/suppliers, as required, to ensure timelines are communicated and deadlines met.
  • Supporting a continuous improvement environment.
  • Adhering to all relevant internal, client and industry guidelines and SOPs, including maintaining agreed filing structures, naming conventions and version control.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent with a strong creative portfolio or showreel.
  • Ability to take and interpret creative briefs, working closely with senior creatives and account teams.
  • Ability to take design concepts and produce supporting animated deliverables for use across a wide variety of creative platforms.
  • Experience in developing animated/video materials, experience in medical/healthcare communications advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation in design, software and learning new skills.
  • A solid understanding of core design principles, including use of colour, typography, spacing, information hierarchy and white space; accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience working with any other Adobe Creative Suite software or UI design software, such as Figma, advantageous.
  • Experience using 3D software such as Cinema 4D or Maya.
  • A creative approach to problem‑solving and an open‑minded attitude.
  • Good organisational skills and proactivity, with excellent written/oral communication skills.
  • Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, multi‑tasking and working to tight deadlines.
  • Ambition, enthusiasm and a team player mentality.
