Location: United Kingdom

Part-time: 4 days / 20-24 hours per week, must include Friday as part of the working week

Job Summary

As a Payroll Administrator, you will support the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. You will also manage the full payroll process, from start to finish, offering support to the Payroll Manager and work across UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and India.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gather amendments and changes for action
  • Input and upload data into the payroll system
  • Liaise with the People Team to ensure accurate employee data
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including new starters, leavers
  • Process monthly payrolls accurately and on schedule
  • Manage pension contributions and auto‑enrolment processes
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Handle employee queries related to pay, deductions
  • Prepare payroll journals and support finance with month‑end reporting
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information
  • Liaise closely with external payroll partners – ADP
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy of employee pay information
  • Improve and implement processes between SuccessFactors and ADP ensuring internal controls are followed
  • Maintain and constantly update the payroll process notes
  • Support other administrative and ad hoc tasks as required

Experience, Skills And Qualifications

  • Experience in payroll administration or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
  • Some knowledge of EU payroll legislation
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll system is essential
  • Proficiency with payroll software (e.g. ADP)
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors is beneficial
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
