We are looking for a high-potential Procurement Analyst to support the delivery of a business-wide procurement and supplier management programme. This role combines hands-on sourcing with strong analytical and commercial capability. You will support procurement activity end-to-end while providing insight into spend, supplier performance, and cost optimisation opportunities. You will work across a broad range of third-party spend, partnering with stakeholders to drive value, improve commercial outcomes, and embed structured procurement processes. This is a delivery-focused role with real ownership and visibility across the business.

Your key responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Commercial Delivery
    • Lead and support sourcing activity across a range of third-party spend, both direct and indirect
    • Run structured RFQs/RFPs, evaluate, and produce clear award recommendations
    • Analyse supplier pricing, cost drivers, and commercial models to ensure value for money
    • Support negotiations, driving cost savings and improved commercial terms
    • Identify opportunities for demand management, consolidation, and cost optimisation
  • Spend Analysis & Insight
    • Analyse spend data to identify trends, risks, and savings opportunities
    • Build and maintain spend baselines across key areas
    • Provide data-driven insights to support sourcing decisions and stakeholder discussions
    • Support development of category insights where required
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with budget holders to shape requirements and sourcing approaches
    • Act as a trusted advisor on procurement processes and commercial considerations
    • Drive early procurement engagement to maximise value and control
    • Influence stakeholders to adopt best practice procurement behaviours
  • Supplier & Contract Management
    • Support onboarding of new suppliers in line with governance and control requirements
    • Assist with due diligence, risk checks, and documentation
    • Maintain accurate contract and supplier data, including key commercial terms and renewal dates
    • Support proactive renewal management and supplier performance tracking
  • Process, Governance & Control
    • Ensure procurement activity aligns with internal policy, approval thresholds, and controls
    • Support rollout and continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools
    • Maintain audit-ready documentation to support compliance requirements
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking
    • Track and report savings, cost avoidance, and commercial outcomes
    • Maintain procurement pipelines, contract registers, and opportunity logs
    • Support production of monthly reporting and dashboards
    • Highlight risks, issues, and opportunities to leadership
