Are you a committed Christian who is passionate about the persecuted church and the mission of Open Doors? Are you experienced in building relationships with trusts and foundations and securing funding for charitable causes? Are you passionate about communicating the impact of the persecuted church and growing sustainable income through excellent fundraising and stewardship?

Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.

Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and colleagues across the organisation, you will develop and submit compelling funding proposals, respond to enquiries from potential donors and ensure that existing supporters receive excellent stewardship. You will build professional and spiritually sensitive relationships with trust managers and trustees, communicating the impact of their support through accurate and timely reporting. You will also help promote trust giving through relevant events, publications and digital channels, acting as an internal champion for this important area of fundraising.

This is a varied role that combines relationship management, fundraising, research, administration and communication. You will help deliver the Trusts strategy, monitor income and expenditure, maintain accurate CRM records and ensure that all activity is carried out in line with relevant legislation and best practice. Through your attention to detail, strategic approach and passion for the mission of Open Doors, you will help grow income and strengthen our reputation as an excellent recipient and steward of trust grants and donations.

You will have the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors and to work with integrity and with purpose. We offer a flexible role with a good work-life balance, huge job satisfaction and employee benefits. You will work with some inspirational people and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your career.
