Working in the Growth Team
The Growth team acts as the powerhouse of the company, ensuring the immediate needs of the customers are swiftly met and the future ones are translated into a product roadmap and deliverable projects.
Each member of the team combines a mix of programmatic, system engineering, and commercial skills with specific strengths.
What will you be doing?
You will be at the focal point of taking Open Cosmos satellite solutions to the commercial market. Building relationships and giving prospective customers the know-how of using satellites to enable their businesses to close contracts.
You’ll also be working closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to bring everything together, including Mission Concept Engineers and our internal technical teams.
What you need to be successful
- You’ll need to have a breadth of satellite mission architecture knowledge to scope space missions through technical and programmatic interactions with customers until go/no-go.
- You’ll be communicating a lot, so be confident in speaking, listening, and writing, sometimes within large groups including customers.
- You’ll be well connected in the industry and capable of leveraging your professional network to keep up to date on potential opportunities that OC could support.
- You’ll be a skilled negotiator, with the ability to get to the core of potential customer needs quickly and align this to the OC solution.
