The Company: Open Bionics specialises in manufacturing and fitting upper limb prosthetics. We have 12 qualified prosthetists within our team across 3 different countries, providing clinical services and supporting our research and development projects. Open Bionics pioneered the use of 3D printing and 3D scanning within the P&O industry, and led a movement towards making prosthetics “look cool” - like glasses frames - rather than trying to hide the fact that a person has a limb difference. We have just launched the second generation of our bionic hand products, which are breaking new ground with an integrated battery, wireless EMG control and a standard wrist connector.
