OPEN architecture, one of Kent's leading architectural and interior design practices, is looking for a talented Part I or Part II Architectural Assistant or Interior Architecture Degree Graduate to join our friendly team on a temporary contract to help with our expanding workload. We are an award-winning RIBA practice and we work on a wide variety of exciting projects throughout many sectors, including private residential, large-scale development, commercial and retail schemes. Working across these various sectors and building types lends itself to a dynamic and collaborative approach within a stimulating environment. This role will be mainly focussed on our exciting and challenging nationwide retail sector projects, working with multiple teams and consultants to complete projects on tight deadlines. The initial employment will be a temporary contract for between 3 and 6 months to assist with a particular roll out. Dependant on workload, the role may become permanent.
Basic Requirements
- RIBA Part I/II or Interior Architecture Degree Graduate
- Good all round graphic and design skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and design teams
- Technical experience advantageous
- AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketchup experience required
- Motivated and organised
- Good verbal and written presentation skills
- Willingness to learn and foster good relationships
- Positive and upbeat attitude
- Must be a quick learner with a good eye for detail
- Must have a full driver's license and access to a car

Salary is negotiable and based on experience. This position is not suitable if you live abroad as you will be required to attend the offices. Due to the high number of applicants, we will only respond to successful applicants.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year dependant on experience and qualifications Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
